Derick Xavier Richardson is a contemporary & abstract artist based out of the beautiful historic town of Pensacola, Florida U.S.A -known for it's lush white sandy beaches. After many years in the field of dentistry, he has now shifted his focus to the world of art, allowing him to fully explore his creative passions. Derick aims to elicit emotion and stimulate thought through his unique visual language.

His interest in art history and textured artistic styles was ignited during his travels to Rome, Italy. While this experience was influential, it was during the COVID-19 pandemic that his passion for contemporary and abstract art truly emerged - a pivotal time & defining era he often refers to as "when the world stood still".

To continue his artistic journey, Derick founded "Xavier Fine Art LLC," a platform for visual artists and musicians to showcase their talents through organized art expeditions.
