Xavier Fine Art has the awesome privilege of working with Erica Lanes in her summer camp for girls. The theme of the camp was based on the book that she published called, "My Selfie Needs No Filter". It was a joy to host my class, "Paint Your Emotions", designed to teach the concept of expressing feelings through visual art.

Emotions in all its forms can be represented using colors, shapes, and textures - on canvas. By creating artwork, individuals have the ability to gain insight into their emotional experiences, enabling them to process and communicate complex feelings. This highlights the potential for art as a tool for personal reflection and exploration of emotions. It touched my heart to see those in class learning how to take their feelings and thoughts, put them onto canvas and let their abstract art speak for them!
